Vero Beach Picnic Spots

Vero Beach Picnic Spots

If you’re staying in a Vero Beach hotel, you can enjoy your days exploring the area. One great way to get to know the area is to take a picnic. Check out one of these Vero Beach picnic spots and enjoy an afternoon in the great outdoors.

1.The Beach

If you haven’t had a beach picnic, put one at the top of your to-do list. There’s nothing like bringing a few sandwiches and enjoying them with a view of the ocean. Head to any one of the local beaches with some food and enjoy the afternoon.

For the best experience, you should pack an umbrella and some beach chairs. Although you can eat on a beach blanket, things tend to get a little sandy.

2. Dale Wimbrow Park

Located in North Indian River County, this park is right along the Sebastian River. It gives you a great view of the river as well as some great fishing spots. You can bring a picnic and enjoy your food from one of the picnic pavilions.

If you want to barbecue for lunch, you can use one of the on-site grills. There’s nothing like hot dogs and hamburgers served at a picnic!

3. Gifford Park

If you have kids, Gifford Park is one of the best Vero Beach picnic spots. The park features a large play area for the children. There is also a fitness trail and tennis court. Enjoy your meal at one of the picnic tables, then let the kids explore the park.
